The Tu-Be is a collaborative work between Maurer and designer Ron
Arad. The original idea occurred to Arad while working on the design of
a new toothpaste tube. Thirty steel toothpaste tubes are combined with
halogen and LED lights in a work that transmits light through the
toothpaste tubes, but also uses their metal surfaces to reflect light from

Mirror. Base is a polished chrome finish and the lamp required four line voltage

The Pirce suspension lamp was designed in 2008 by Guiseppe Maurizio
Scutellá. Pirce originates from a single laser-cut aluminum sheet, from which a
thin disk is obtained. A slim disc merges softly into flowing twirls that spirally tilt
